About the temple

Sri Shivanjaneya Devalayam is a community temple in Katkur, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Anjaneya, and managed by a registered charitable society of villagers.

The deities

The name Shivanjaneya joins two beloved deities — Lord Shiva, the auspicious one, and Lord Anjaneya (Hanuman), the devoted and mighty. Worshipping them together, the temple is a place where devotees pray for inner peace, courage and protection.

The temple stands within Katkur village and serves as a centre for daily prayer, bhajans and festival gatherings.
