Sri Shivanjaneya Devalayam in Katkur village is a place of daily worship and gathering for the people of Katkur and the surrounding hamlets. The temple honours Lord Shiva and Lord Anjaneya (Hanuman) together — strength and grace, in one shrine.

The temple is cared for by the Sri Shivanjaneya Temple Society, a registered charitable society run entirely by volunteers from the village.
